About K.E.I.N.

The Kansas Energy Information Network  (KEIN) was founded in 2001 by Scott White with funds from a state grant. Those funds ran out in June 2006 and the web-site is now run independently.  The primary purpose of KEIN is to  promote energy efficiency, renewable energy and a better understanding of energy issues by making reliable information available to the public.  One of the goals of KEIN is to be the first stop for those who seek Kansas energy information on the internet.

While it is our intent to provide links to information that is as complete, accurate and balanced as possible, it is likely there will be gaps in the information presented. This may be due to an unfamiliarity with the existence of a particular web-site, a lack of knowledge with a particular topic or changes in the information presented at an existing link.  Should you encounter any such problems, please feel free to contact us.

If you know of Kansas energy resources or information, as well as upcoming energy-related events (that have information on-line or not) that are not included on this web-site, please contact Scott at  webmaster@kansasenergy.org with the appropriate information. Our goal is to present as much information as possible and to be of maximum use to those who use this. All comments and suggestions are welcome.
